Changing the default Reference Type

When you enter a new reference manually into your Library, the New Reference Window is set by default for journal articles.  However, if most of your references are for other publication types, such as books or websites, it is possible to change this default to another type of reference.

To change the default reference type:

Select Edit > Preferences, then Reference Types from the left side of the Preferences Window  Click the Default Reference Type drop down list, select the reference type required, then .
