One Library or Multiple Libraries?
We recommend that you create just the one library for all of your references, rather than splitting them across multiple libraries. EndNote provides a number of tools to make it easy for you to identify specific resources within your Library, including:
- A search
tool which allows you to search very generally, or restrict
searches to specific fields
- You can change the sort
order of your Library by clicking on a column heading
- Changing
your Library Window Display to display other fields
- Creating groups of references
- Creating customised fields to store quotes, course codes, etc.
