Duplicate Handling using Import Filters
References are considered duplicate if they are the same reference type (book, journal article, etc), and have the same author, title, and year as another entry in the library.
Three options are available for handling duplicate records identified in the Import process:
| Import All | Imports all references, including duplicates |
| Discard Duplicates | Imports all references, except duplicates, which are discarded altogether |
| Import into Duplicates Library | Duplicate references are imported into a library called "file_dupl.enl", where "file" is the name of the library which you are importing into. This allows you to examine the records later and keep or discard them as you choose. |
