These programs involve both in school and on campus activities, family orientated information and student mentoring programs.

Community Committee Program
This program involves the Indigenous Community Engagement Officer and Portfolio Representatives attending the meetings of inter-agencies, community, government and non-government organisations to inform them of the services and options of the Institute and the University of Newcastle and discuss further partnership options between our organisations.
Articulated Pathways Development
This initiative involves developing clear and available articulation paths to tertiary study and beyond for Indigenous community and school based students. These pathways will be enhanced with established educational partners and developed with further identified educational partners and organisations. The outcome is designed to develop students through tertiary study into either post-graduate study, graduate programs and/or attainable employment in their field of study.
