Biography

Dr. Kyu-Tae Kim is currently a University of Newcastle Research Fellowship holder appointed to an academic Lecturer level. The University of Newcastle Research Fellowship Scheme is an initiative to support outstanding career researchers seeking to commence an academic/research career. The Scheme is highly competitive and provides appointments of five years duration which renewable for a further term by mutual agreement. Dr. Kim is expected to contribute to teaching and supervision within the School and to actively seek external research funding. Before joining the School, Dr. Kim was a postdoctoral fellow at Sydney Kimmel Cancer Centre, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Kim has interested in molecular oncology and cancer genomics.
