Biography

Dr Johanna Macneil joined the University in 2007, and was Convenor of the Masters program in Human Resource Management from 2007-2010. She was awarded a University Career Enhancement Fellowship in 2011.

She was formerly a senior consultant in workplace change and industrial relations (1999-2006); a Senior Lecturer in Management at Deakin University (1996-1998); and a Senior Research Fellow at Monash University's National Key Centre in Industrial Relations (1992-95).

Collaboration

Johanna's primary research collaboration within the discipline of industrial/employment relations is with Mark Bray, Professor of Employment Studies at the University of Newcastle; and Professor Nigel Haworth (Auckland University) and Erling Rasmussen (Auckland University of Technology). They are interested in workplace and regulatory processes to promote effective co-operation.

Johanna is also working with Professor Allyson Holbrook and Professor Sid Bourke from Education on understanding roles and boundaries in delivery of PhD education.
